ROY "POPPA" WEBSTER On November 4, 2001 Mr. Roy Webster of Edmonton, formerly of Grande Prairie, passed away at the age of 58 years. Survived by his loving wife, Caroline, stepson Clifford (Avalon) Jewels, two daughters, Melanie (Moe) Peloquin and Maureen (Ralph) Fischer; one sister Diane (Lloyd) Cowie and their son Jeff; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Predeceased by his stepdaughter Bonnie Weir. Born in Winnipeg in 1942, Roy spent his early life on a farm near Carroll, MB, returned to Winnipeg at an early age. He began his career in construction and settled in Grande Prairie for 11 years with his wife Caroline. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday November 7 at 3:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples, 10821-96 St. Serenity Funeral Service, 5311-91 St., 450-0101, Phil Plummer, Funeral Director.
