LILLIAN CONNER Taken from us on Monday, October 29, 2001, at the age of 58, Lil Conner (nee Leb) cherished wife of Arnold, mother of Michael, Alissa Schacter, Shawna and Steven, daughter of Dora Leb, and sister of Ruth Bear, Irv Leb and Bobby Searle. Her loss is shared by her dear nieces and nephews, Debby and Norm Yusim, Marshall Morris and Leora Marcovitz, Audra and Evan Roitenberg, Paula and David Schraber, Esther and Jimmy Paletz, Sol and Debbie Bear, and David and Lea Leb, as well as her great nieces and nephews and many friends. Lil was predeceased by her father Sam Leb in 1974. Lils essence was love and family. Lil and Arnold enjoyed 36 wonderful years of marriage. They loved to spend time with their children, family and friends but most of all they enjoyed being in each others company and sharing the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was cooking, entertaining, travelling, or working in their garden, Lil and Arnold loved doing things together. They were true soul mates. Their love and devotion provided a beautiful example for their children. As a mother, there was nothing Lil would not do for her children. She provided a loving, warm and nurturing environment for her children and taught them to live honestly, simply and with love. Her values will continue to guide them throughout their lives. Lil was also there to care for her own mother who could not have asked for a more thoughtful, loving and devoted daughter. Their bond was special. Lils laughter and smile lit up and warmed our hearts. She had the ability to see and touch only the good in people. Lil was a most gracious hostess and eagerly befriended those she met. Her youthful enthusiasm for life, family and friends brought joy and happiness to those around her. A selfless generosity pervaded her spirit. She was a very beautiful person inside and out. Lil enriched our lives immensely and will be missed as the day would miss the sun. Our hearts have been shattered and are filled with stinging pain. Our lives have been forever changed. But nothing can take her from us - our love and memories endure and will forever keep her alive.
