CLARA ISABEL DAWSON May 12, 1913 - November 4, 2001 Peacefully, at her home in Plumas, Manitoba, Clara went to join her beloved husband Clair, brothers Fred, Art, Carl, Lolly, Frank, and sister Marie, in eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her passing son Edmond and daughter-in-law, Daryle of Winnipeg; daughter Patricia and son-in-law Anthony; and grandson Anthony Jr., all of Palm Springs, CA; and son Jim of Portage la Prairie. Clara is survived by sisters-in-law, Rose Ainslie, Peggy Dawson, both of Winnipeg, Marg Buschau of Vancouver, Ida Bohn of Winnipeg Beach, and Annie Buschau of Plumas; brother-in-law Wally Hinos of Montreal; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Clara was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived for her family and was proud of all their achievements. She was most proud of her husbands many years as high school principal in Plumas. Her fondness for gardening alongside her husband Clair was evident in the lush gardens they created. She will be fondly remembered and missed. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 91 in the Plumas United Church with Rev. Debbie Orton officiating. Interment will follow at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
