CLARENCE HECTOR (TEX) GUINDON Passed away suddenly with his family at his side, at Concordia Hospital, on Monday, November 5, 2001. Clarence was born on July 6, 1924, in Montreal, PQ, and grew up in Hudson Heights. He was a veteran of the RCAF, being in the service from 1943 to 1946. He married Vera in 1950 and raised their family in Calgary, AB. He worked in various companies over the years, including Amplitrol Electronics, Hoover Company, Investors Syndicate, and as a car salesman in Carman, MB. He loved family camping, loved cars with a passion, and was an avid golfer. Clarence was predeceased by his parents Leila and Hector Guindon. He is survived by his wife Vera of 51 years; his children, Susan of Winnipeg, MB, Michael and David of Vancouver, BC, Barry (Carol) and grandchildren, Chelsey and Ashley of Winnipeg; sister Gladys Alexander; and nephew Brian of Grimsby, ON. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 9 in Garden of Prayer, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. Please meet at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
