ROBERTA "BETTY" ROSS WESTERN On November 6, 2001, Roberta "Betty" Ross Western left our presence and went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Left to cherish her memory is her sister Jean Lowe; her sister-in-law Betty Western; her nieces, Roberta (Roy) Kruse and Barbara (Steve) Snyder; her nephews, Tom (Myrna) Lowe, William (Jane) Western, Brian (Michelle) Western; and many great-nieces and nephews. Auntie Betty was born April 19, 1918. She was a wonderful sister, auntie, and friend. Her faithful life was a shining example to all of us. Betty loved her Jesus and endeavoured to live her life by his example. She spent many hours in prayer and witness for her family and friends. She also loved laughter, music, dogs, cats, and gardening. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, November 10, at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Lyall Sutton officiating. Viewing will be at the Chapel one-half hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews. If friends so desire, donations in memory of auntie Betty may be made to Faith Bible Camp, Box 42059, 1881 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3X7.
