Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN JERRARD Peacefully on November 6, 2001, our husband and father went to be with our Lord. He was predeceased by his parents. He will be sadly missed by his wife Merline; and children, Paul (Cheryl), Denise, Paulette (Dean) and Michelle (Doyle). Also mourning is his brother Mervyn, nieces, nephews, and seven grandchildren. John was born in Winnipeg, MB on March 14, 1920. He served overseas in the Royal Canadian Air Force, Squadron 401. John was an avid sports enthusiast. In his youth he played many sports and as a father he was actively involved in the sporting pursuits of his children. John was a longtime member of the St. Saviors Anglican Church. In his retirement, John remained involved in many community based activities. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and those who knew him. We would especially like to thank Maria and the kind and caring staff at the River East Personal Care Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Saviors Anglican Church, 690 Munroe Ave. A private interment will take place at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8 or a charity of your choice.
