DEBRA CLAIRE COATES (nee WINTER) Debra Claire Coates (nee Winter) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 6, 2001 after an unexpected yet mercifully brief battle with cancer, at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, at the age of 48 years. Debra was born on June 10, 1953 in Winnipeg, MB, the second child of Ronald and Elva Winter. Debra moved to Red Deer along with her mother in June of 1993. Debra was predeceased by her father Ronald in 1976. She is survived by her mother Elva Winter of Red Deer, her sister Delores Whitelock of Red Deer and children, Jodi Braun and family of Edmonton and Scott Whitelock and family of Chilliwack, BC, and her brother Mark and Dale Winter of Red Deer and their children, Jeff, Leah and Rohn. She will be sadly missed yet fondly remembered by a number of friends and co-workers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held from the 11-17-2001
