Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTONIO MORAIS ANDRADE January 4, 1948 - November 7, 2001 Born in Santa Maria, Acores After a short and courageous battle with cancer, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, surrounded by his loving family, this very special angel went to heaven to be with his parents. He was predeceased by his father Manuel Morais Andrade and his mother Maria Braga Morais. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Elisa of 30 years; his daughters, Lucy (Paul) and Diane (Steve) his grandchildren, Denzel and Dante; his brother Joe (Aida, Michael (Calgary), Kenny) his sister Maria Pereira (Manuel) (Florida), Elizabeth (Boston). He also leaves to mourn his brothers and sisters-in-law, Joao Cabral (Nelia), Jose Soares (Margaret), Manuel Morais (Odete), Fatima Soares, Eduardo Soares (Ines) (Boston), Daniel Soares (Margaret) (Boston) and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Antonio was employed at Equinox for 29 years until recently he worked at Structural Glass, where he made numerous friends who he loved so dearly. Antonio was a devoted husband who loved everyone. His family was so important to him especially his grandchildren. His grandchildren will always have fond memories of going for walks and playing in the garden. We would like to thank family and friends for their love and support at a time where we all need each other. We would like to thank Dr. Anne Kong, Dr. Alvi, Dr. Harris and all the nurses and staff at Concordia Hospital. Prayers will be said on Friday, November 9, at 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 10, at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Dad, no words will ever express how much we love you. May you rest in peace and watch over us, so we may have strength and courage to never forget the memories, the laughter, and most of all the love we have been blessed to share with you. Avo, which is what your grandchildren knew you as, they will never be able to replace the love they shared with you. Please be their angel and star in the sky, which will watch over them.
