WALTER KRAWITZ 1935 - 2001 With courage and dignity, Walter Krawitz passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2001, at the Health Sciences Centre, after a year-long struggle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary. Wally will be lovingly remembered by his brother Michael; sister-in-law Elsie; and nieces, Patricia and Elizabeth. He was a wonderful brother and brother-in-law and the best uncle. We will miss him dearly, but we are comforted in knowing that his pain and suffering are finally over. Wally worked for Moore Business Forms for 33 years, performing the various jobs required in the printing industry, including that as production planner at the time of his retirement in 1991. Throughout his life, Wally enjoyed sports. He excelled in minor hockey, baseball, bowling, and golf. Upon his retirement, golfing became his major activity, playing as a club team member of Bel Acres Golf & Country Club. He particularly enjoyed annual winter golfing trips to Arizona or Florida. Special thanks to Dr. A. Maksymiuk, Dr. L. Brandes, Dr. G. Schroeder, Health Sciences Centre staff on GD4 and CancerCare staff on A-2 and Radiotherapy, all who treated him with care and compassion. In respect of Wallys wishes, there will be no formal service. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held. Flowers and cards of condolences are gratefully declined. As expressions of sympathy, if friends wish, donations in Wallys memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Room ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9.
