DORIS JOSEPHINE LePODER (nee YAWNY) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Doris Josephine LePoder on the morning of Thursday, November 8, 2001 at the Victoria General Hospital. She will be truly missed by her husband Raymond, daughter Shirley, son Norman, son-in-law Ed. "Mom Mom" will always be remembered by Adam and Alicia; Doriss family, her only brother John and Anne Mankewicz; nieces Nicole and Cathy and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Julia and Peter Yawny, and her niece Teresa. Doris was born January 14, 1941 in Fort Whyte, MB. Viewing will be held on Monday, November 12 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 12 at 1:00 p.m., also in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Doriss Eulogy will be given by her nieces. The family expresses their sincere thanks to the staff of the 5th floor of the Victoria General Hospital. Their compassion and professionalism was as if we were their own family, words cannot thank them enough. Doris fought a courageous battle with strength and being so positive. She will be always remembered by her family, friends and neighbours.
