From here Helen went to Winnipeg to work at a young age. On March 30, 1948 she was joined in holy matrimony to Henry Froese. They resided on the family farm 4 miles south east of McCreary until their retirement in 1981, when they moved into the town of McCreary. Helen lived here until her sudden death on October 30, 2001. Helen has always been actively involved in the McCreary Gospel Church, dating back to its early origin as a Canadian Sunday School outreach into the McCreary area. Helen enjoyed many hobbies: cooking, quilting, embroidering, knitting, crocheting and putting puzzles together. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus comes God will bring back with Jesus all the Christians who have died." 1Thessalonians 4:13/14 (NLT) Pastor J.R. Fordyce and Paster Roger Woywoda officiated at the funeral service held on Saturday, November 3 at 1:00 p.m. in the McCreary Gospel Church. Interment took place in the McCreary Cemetery.
