ELISA GOSSELIN (nee TAILLEFER) Suddenly on November 8, 2001, at her residence, Mrs. Elisa Gosselin passed away at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her husband Georges in 1973, one daughter in infancy Lorraine, two daughters-in-law, Sandra and Germaine, three grandchildren, Rita, Gilles and Andre, one great-granddaughter Samantha, four sisters and ten brothers. Elisa leaves to cherish her memory eight children, Roland (Annette), Lea (Olivier), Louis (Laurence), Gerard, Lucille (Gerard), Charles (Aggie), Florence (Kenneth), and Gilbert, 27 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Mom was born and lived in La Broquerie for 82 years. She taught school for five years until her marriage to Georges. They then moved to the farm where she brought up her family. Her deep faith and wisdom will be a source of inspiration and guidance for many years to come. Prayers will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 11 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 12 at 1:30 p.m., with viewing prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. in the La Broquerie Roman Catholic Church, with Father Leonce Aubin presiding.
