Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH (JOE) KAYER Peacefully, on Friday, November 9, 2001 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Joseph Kayer passed away at the age of 72 years, formerly of Highland Glen, MB. Joe is survived by his brothers, John (Laura) and Ted (Joy) sister Jerri (George) Weston; niece Jill (Todd) and nephew Joshua; brother-in-law Mike Buck; and nephews, Robert and James. He was predeceased by his parents, Mike (1955) and Bernice (1969) and his sister Stephanie Buck (1999). Joe was born and raised in Highland Glen. He worked for the Department of Highways and he farmed, until his retirement. Prayers will be said on Sunday, November 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, with Fr. Sebastian Gacki officiating. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Michaels Church, Cooks Creek Building Fund or to the charity of ones choice. Rest in Peace Joe Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
