She always liked to joke that because she was a leap year baby she was younger than most of her grandchildren. Martha and Albert were united in marriage on October 6, 1937 at Inglis, MB. They farmed at Inglis until 1959, then moved their family to Winnipeg. Martha was employed at the Grace Hospital for many years and was also a caregiver in her home to several individuals. Martha loved life. She especially enjoyed jokes and had a wonderful sense of humour. She was very talented and created many beautiful crafts with her crocheting, knitting, quilting and other crafts. She also enjoyed gardening and her plants were always so beautiful because of her green thumb. Martha enjoyed her time with her family, expecially time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the best woman i've ever known, my grandma. she could cheer you up in a second with something funny and would tell me "grandson don't take so much so seriously, they are just bugging you" I miss hearing her say that. She always stayed so positive when everything seemed bad...a boy/now man could have never asked for a better grandmother...I miss you so much grandma, but I know you're in a better place now, because you're back with my grandpa..your true love..and nothing in this world could make me happier than to know that you two are together again. your youngest grandson J.R - Posted by: Jayson Rosnow (Grandson) on: Dec 11, 2012
