Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET MAE CHITTY Peacefully on November 7, 2001, Auntie Vi passed away at the age of 87 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, Bert; nieces, Judy, Sandra (Dave), Grace; and nephews, John (Lil), Jim, Murray, David; and many great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Ema; father John; brothers, Allan and Jim; sister Vera; and her niece Margaret. Auntie Vi shared many interests and pleasures with her family, such as her love and caring of animals, her garage sales, bingo at the Weston Legion and arts and crafts. There will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13 in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, with the Rev. R. L. Brownlie officiating. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Messrs. Gerry Laferriere, Ronnie Cameron, Chris Cameron, Jamie Cameron, Jeffrey Cameron, David Lysohirka, Derek Sigurdson, and Bobby Adie. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Maples Personal Care Home for the tender loving care given to Auntie Vi, and she was known as "Auntie Vi" to all of them.
