LAW April 12, 1913 - November 8, 2001 On Thursday, November 8, 2001, Dick Law peacefully passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn his daughter Barbara Paquin (Greg), his son Barry, grandchildren, Tara Forbister (Drew), Meaghan, and Jennifer; and great-grandchildren, Jessica, Morgan, Hunter, Jeremy and Aaron. Also, his sister Edie Kergen and brother Les. He was predeceased by his wife Edith, his mother Margaret, father Richard and brothers, George, Albert and Ken. Dick was born in Barrow In Furnace, Lancashire, England. He came to Canada in 1927 for the first time and then returned in 1945. He served in the British Army from 1938 to 1942 and enlisted with the Canadian Army from 1942 to 1945. He served in Gibraltar, Northern Ireland and Northwest Europe. Dick retired in 1977 from Manpower and Immigration. He enjoyed bowling with the Red, White and Blue Federal Government Bowling League from 1976 to 1994. He also enjoyed golfing at the St. Boniface Golf Course from 1972 to 1994. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 12, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street. It will be lonely here without you, We will miss you more each day For life will not be the same for us. We will always remember the way you looked, The way you talked and smiled All the things you did for us, Will be with us all the while You always did your best Your heart was true and tender You lived your life for those you loved And those you loved will remember.
