Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLARD MARSHALL LESLIE DESJARLAIS Peacefully on November 8, 2001 surrounded by his family at the Health Sciences Centre, Leslie Desjarlais passed away to be with the Lord at 54 years of age. Leslie was predeceased by his parents Maurice and Bella; brothers, Sam and Maurice Jr., and his sister Darlene. He is survived by his loving wife Helena (nee Munroe) stepchildren Ken, Bill, Myrna and Brad; five step-grandchildren; brothers, John (Pearl), Garnet (Arlene), Melvin (Sylvia) one sister Evelyn Swetz; sisters-in-law, Mildred, Gloria L., Gloria (George) and Rose (Joe) brother-in-law Cliff as well as numerous nieces, nephews and his many good friends who loved him dearly. Wake services will be held on Monday, November 12 at the Scanterbury Hall, Scanterbury, MB with funeral services to follow on Tuesday, November 13 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Scanterbury Hall with Pastor David Sinclair officiating. Interment will follow in the Scanterbury Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be George Munroe, Carl Stone, John Jr. and Orton Desjarlais, Ken Guiboche and Cliff Munroe. Active pallbearers will be Eldon, Garnet Jr., Kerry and Jeff Desjarlais, Kevin McIvor and Brad Guiboche. The family would like to thank the Central Park Lodge for all the care given to Leslie during his stay and the Health Sciences Centre (M.I.C.U.) for all the compassion shown to us. We love you Les and will miss you dearly. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
