Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPARKER G. WILLIAMS "CURLY" It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Parker Garrison Williams on November 13, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Parker leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 58 years, Mary (Kolisnyk) sons, Jim (Mary), Roger (Susan) and Tim (Irene) grandchildren, Michael (Mylene), Mark (Shannon), Jon, Chris, Eric, Melanie, and Parker; great-grandchildren, Alex and Erica. Parker was born in Portage la Prairie, MB on June 2, 1914. He served in the militia and later as Sergeant in the military during the Second World War where he met his wife Mary. Curly worked at the Marion Hotel from opening day in 1955 until his retirement in October 1979. He loved to share stories about his early days of working in the bush in Pine River, army days and his card playing days, which he enjoyed, with anyone who would listen. He had a great sense of humour and made everyone feel happy. The family wishes to pass on its heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, 4th floor, for the care and prayers. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment was held. Funeral service celebrating Parkers life will be held Saturday, November 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Ltd.
