MAURICE WILLIAM AGLAND Peacefully on November 11, 2001, Maurice W. Agland passed away, aged 83. At his side was his loving wife of 56 years, Ruth. Maurice was born in Winnipeg on August 26, 1918 and remained a life long resident. Besides his wife Ruth, Maurice leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory his only daughter Barbara Agland-OConnor, son-in-law Ken, granddaughters, Stephanie and Alexa. He also leaves nieces, nephews and life long friends. Maurice was retired after a long career with the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. Maurice enjoyed listening to music, playing the organ, playing cards and in his younger days he loved a good round of golf while he relaxed at his cottage in St. Malo. Maurice will always be remembered by his family and friends as a kind, quiet, gentle, sensitive family man. His granddaughters were the light of his life and he loved sharing special moments with both of them. Maurices family was his most precious of treasures, his devotion to his wife, daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters defined his life. Their well being and happiness were most important to him. Hell be sadly missed. In respect of Maurices wishes, there will be no formal service. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held.
