Anne enjoyed helping others and enjoyed many hours working in her garden and on the farm. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, with Bev Ward officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Pat Harris, the Oncology Department and staff on the 3rd floor of the Grace Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away. You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting, Until the very end. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you, And whispered, "Come with Me". MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
