Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA WIWCHAR Passed away quietly on Monday, November 12, 2001, at Holy Family Nursing Home. Anna was born on December 23, 1901 in Worishkiwci, Ukraine to Ivan Chajkowsky and Maria Bordun. Anna married the late Wasyl Wiwchar in Jushkiwci, Ukraine and they were blessed by four sons and one daughter. Anna was predeceased by her infant son Nicholas, her husband Wasyl, daughter Sister Anita Marie, SSMI, and son John. Left to mourn her passing are her two sons, Nicholas and wife Mary, Michael, Bishop of Saskatoon and Chicago Eparchies; widowed daughter-in-law Olga Wiwchar; grandchildren, Robert Wiwchar and wife Donna, Michael and wife Elizabeth, David, Allan Winchar and wife Brenda, Christopher; and adopted son from Russia, Kolia; great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Matthew, Andrea and husband Alex, Paul and Kyle, Bradley, Gavin and Cory; and great-great-granddaughter Kirsten; grandniece Nellie Woloshyn; and many great grandnieces and great grandnephews. A special word of thanks to the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate and the staff on the third floor of Holy Family Nursing Home for their care and compassion. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave. Divine liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m., also at the Church with Bishop Michael Wiwchar officiating.
