Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTONY F. FRIESEN 1927 - 2001 Tony passed away November 15, 2001 at Salem Home in Winkler. He was born February 2, 1927 in Rosenfeld, MB to David D. and Maria Friesen. Tony grew up in the Rosenfeld area. He received his education in the Reichbach School District. He upgraded his education at Red River Community College. He also took courses in taxidermy and art. He was actively involved in tree farming, fishing trips with his Dad, and brother David and friends were very special to him. His love and compassionate nature was demonstrated by his loving care for his parents. Tony was baptized upon his confession of faith and received as a member in the Sommerfelder Mennonite Church. The church was very important to him. He leaves to mourn his passing sister Mary; brother David and wife Mary; sister Anne and husband Bill Doell; nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. He was predeceased by his parents, David D. and Maria Friesen, sister Helen, brother-in-law John Doell, and one sister Margaret in infancy. Funeral service will be on Saturday, November 17, 2:00 p.m. at the Winkler Sommerfelder Mennonite Church. Interment to follow in the Rosenfeld Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Salem Foundation Inc. 165 15th St., Winkler, MB R6W 1T8. The love and presence of a brother cannot be measured and we feel deeply the emptiness created by his passing.
