Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH MARTHA (nee WARD) REYNOLDS August 12, 1915 - November 11, 2001 Peacefully, at Golden West Centennial Lodge, on Sunday, November 11, 2001, Martha Reynolds passed away at the age of 86. Martha will be lovingly remembered by Jack, her devoted husband of 55 years; by her children, Margaret, Garry (Carlie) of Calgary, and Susan; by her grandchildren, Christine and Ward; and by her sister and brother, Margaret and Ned. Martha was predeceased by her parents, and by brothers, Sid and Tom. Martha was born in Pinewood, ON on August 12, 1915, to Edward and Edith Ward. As a young woman, she moved to Winnipeg and worked for several years at Picardys, the Wheat Board, and the Cigar Store. While employed with the government, she met and fell in love with Jack Reynolds. Martha and Jack were married on January 18, 1947, and shortly thereafter, began their family. Together they built a warm and loving home for their family and Martha stayed home to raise their children. Martha always welcomed her many close friends and neighbours, and was a faithful member of her Church. Martha was a very kind and gentle woman whose bright smile will be missed. Martha, Mom, Nana - you are in our thoughts and we will all miss you. We hope that you are more comfortable now, and we trust that you are watching over us. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anns Roman Catholic Church, 271 Hampton St. In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully received by St. Anns Church or by Golden West Centennial Lodge.
