GEORGE ONYSHKO Peacefully, with dignity and honour, on Wednesday, November 14, 2001, George Onyshko, aged 92 years, passed away at the St. Boniface Goeneral Hospital. George leaves to cherish his memory his son Nick; two grandsons, Sean (Melanie), Darren (Tracy) two great-grandchildren, Nicole and Jrdan; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends too numerous to mention. He was predeceased much earlier by his first wife, the mother of Nick, Irene (Lillian), only sister Pauline and his brothers, Michael, William, Alex, Steve and Walter. George was born in Cooks Creek, MB in 1909 and was the last surviving member of his family. At Georges request, cremation has taken place. Private interment for the immediate family will take place at a later date. The family would like to extend their special thanks and appreciation to Dr. Bereznay, as well as the other specialists, and key nurses at Emergency and the sixth floor for all their kindness and special attention given to George, as well as the Priest for administrating last rights, and the Beacon Hill Lodge Nursing Home, where he was a resident for many years. In lieu of flowers, donations in Georges memory may be made to the Health Care Facility of your choice and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
