Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID (BILL) WILLIAM McGREGOR Peacefully, on Thursday, November 15, 2001, at the age of 75, at the St. Boniface General Hospital, Bill passed away. Born March 16, 1926 in Hanley, SK, the eldest of seven. Bill was predeceased by his parents, brother Ken and sister Jerry Newman, both of Calgary. Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jessie; daughter Brenda (Ray) Vincent and son Donald (Elizabeth) and grandchildren, Ryan and Jaclyn; sisters, Lillian (Chuck) Tweet, Hanley, SK, Rita Creed, Langley, BC, Kay (Art) Williams, Bakersville, North Carolina; brother Art Gould, Hudson Hope, BC. Bill spent his entire career in the lumber industry in Saskatchewan, AB and Manitoba, retiring in 1991 from PRIMCO, in Winnipeg at the age of 65. A heart felt thanks to Dr. Henry and all the staff of 5B at the St. Boniface General Hospital and Kimberley Choi and all the staff of 3E at the Deerlodge Hospital, even though his stay was short, it was where he wanted to be. Anyone who says people dont care, sure havent met these folks. They made his last few weeks pleasant and comfortable and his family thanks you for that. A very special thanks to Sam Perry for all his care and attention. Our hearts go out to granddaughter Jaclyn, as he chose her birthday to leave us. Bills mind was with him till the end. His body had had enough. When asked in his final hours "If he was ready to go", his answer, without hesitation was "I sure the hell am". At the familys request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Cremation. Flowers in Bills memory are gratefully declined. If friends so wish, contributions to the Canadian Kidney Foundation or a charity of choice would be gratefully appreciated.
