Eda was predeceased by her loving husband Fred Sr., mother (Lucy), father (Richard) and sister (Clara). At Moms wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside interment service was held November 15 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens where Mom was laid to rest next to her dear husband Fred. Many thanks to Rev. Gordon Shields who presided. Eda was born in Winnipeg and raised near Elm Creek and in Winnipeg. She married Fred Sr. and had one child Fred Jr. Eda was a devoted wife, loving mother, mother-in-law and a caring friend. She was deeply saddened by the passing of her husband Fred in 1981. Mom attended church regularly while she was able and enjoyed times spent with relatives, friends and pets. Eda was an exemplary person who saw only the best in everyone. We wish to thank past and present staff at River East Personal Care Home and Dr. Chung for their loving care of Mom over the past eight years. Thanks also to Dr. Sokolies and the Emergency Staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion during Moms final hour. We would also like to thank Chaplain John Friesen for his prayers and kind words of support at Moms bedside. Thanks to Paul and Linda at Wereschuk Funeral Chapel for your care and assistance. Thanks also to the staff at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. Thank you Mom for everything, may you rest in peace. Love Bobbi and Fred.
