MARGARET ELSIE ODLUM Peacefully, on October 26, 2001, at the age of 76, Margaret Elsie Odlum passed away at Boundary Trails Health Centre. Winkler, MB. She will be sadly missed by her husband Earle; daughter Beverley Matthys (Rudi), son Gary (Pat), son Jim (Debby) grandchildren, Randy Matthys (Deanna), Shelley Peters, Shannon Matthys, Justin Odlum and Jamie Odlum. She will be also missed by her great-grandchildren, Ryan and Kelsey Peters; her sister Louise Edkins and family, and by her many friends and neighbours. Margaret Elsie Kerfoot was born October 25, 1925 in the Archibald District to Wilfred and Gertrude Kerfoot. She grew up in Pilot Mound, MB where she went to school and later worked as a telephone operator. On April 27, 1949 she married Earle Watson Odlum in Pilot Mound, where they resided for 52 years. Margaret was a charter member of the Pilot Mound Kinettes, Pilot Mound Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and a 4-H leader for many years. Funeral services were held at Pilot Mound United Church with interment at Greenwood Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations can be made in her name to Rock Lake or Boundary Trails Palliative Care Centres. REST IN PEACE MOM, we love you.
