Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUTH HIRSCH (nee POLLICK) Wife of the late Morris Hirsch, passed away, peacefully, on Saturday, November 17, 2001. She leaves to treasure her memory, her children, Marilyn and Ian; her brothers, David (Fraidla) and Max; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Goldie and Lazar; her son Yale and her sister-in-law Evelyne and nephew Jack Pollick. Ruth had a wonderful, loving childhood and matured into a beautiful and charming young woman. She attended the University of Manitoba and graduated with a B.A. and B.S.W. and worked in her chosen field for many years where she was highly respected. Services were held on Monday, November 19 at Rosh Pina Synagogue with interment at the Rosh Pina Cemetery, followed by a gathering of family and friends at the Beth Israel Synagogue. Services were performed by Rabbi Balser and Cantor Smolack. Pallbearers were her nephew Rick Pollick, great-nephew Dr. Jayson Stoffman and cousins, Harvey, Gordon and Martin Pollock and cousin Jack Kaplan. Donations, in her memory, may be made to the Shalom Residence. Rest in Peace, dear Ruth, you desire it. We love you.
