Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEATRICE LEWIS January 21, 1914 - November 17, 2001 Longtime West Kildonan resident, Bea Lewis, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Seven Oaks General Hospital on Saturday, November 17, 2001. Bea is survived by her son, Don Lewis (Lesley) of West Hawk Lake; grandson Randy Lewis (Dallas) granddaughter Rhonda Krishka (John) great-grandson Cortlan; her loving and caring friend Marg Lewis; brothers, Alex, Bill, and Jim Nicholson; sisters, Chris Turner and May McNabb as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Samuel Lewis and by her son Raymond. Bea was employed by the city of West Kildonan as a receptionist for many years. Many will miss her courteous smile and personality. She was instrumental in helping organize West Kildonan Kiwanis annual senior citizens dinners. Special thanks are extended to her neighbour, Ed and to the SOGH 3rd Floor Unit 5 staff and emergency staff for their many courtesies during her stay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beas memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, R3C 9Z9. Graveside funeral services will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue West on Tuesday, November 20, at 10:30 a.m. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
