Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE (FLO) MARGARET MUELLER It is with deep sorrow the family announces the peaceful passing of our dearly beloved sister and aunt, Flo Mueller, on Sunday, November 18, 2001, at the age of 84. Flo was born on April 1, 1917, in St. Paul, MB, to Jacob and Caroline Mueller. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters Connie and Gert; and her brother John. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory her brother Edward (Bernice) nieces, Shirley (Stan) Mulvey, Sylvia (Dave) Elliott, Dorothy (Doug) Morris; her cousin June Strom; numerous grandnieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and good friends. Flo had a long career, beginning at Bryces Bakery, followed by General Bakeries and retiring from Paulin Chambers after 29 years of service. Flo voluntered many hours at the Thrift Store on Ellice Avenue, with the CNIB, Meals on Wheels, Folkorama, and time spent helping the elderly. She attended Christ the King Church in St. Vital prior to moving to St. James, where she has been a member of St. Paul the Apostle for the last 10 years. Flo was an avid Five-Pin bowler, and was a longtime member of the Winnipeg Archery Club. Flo had many hobbies which included knitting, ceramics, crafts, and cake decorating, all of which she did for family members and friends. She also enjoyed reading, solving crosswords, and card games. Flo enjoyed her many travels abroad to Great Britain, Hawaii, Mexico, and many other southern locations. In her later years, Flo had many holidays, a cruise, and casino trips with her close friend Vera. She also looked forward to her yearly trips to visit family across Canada and in Buffalo, NY. Her fondest memories were her time spent with family and friends, and giving to others. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 22, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2400 Portage Ave. with Msgr. D. Ward Jamieson officiating. Reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Flos memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg MB R3B 2H8. Flo was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
