LYLE NORRIS Peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2001 with his family by his side, Lyle Norris passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 76 years. Lyle will be lovingly remembered by his wife Tillie; daughter Judy Wolchuk; son Michael and wife Anita; daughter Patricia Dixon and husband Bruce; son Scott and his best friend Eleanor; grandchildren, Cory (Melanie), Tara, Julie, Heather, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Alexander and Brent; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Emily; brothers, Claude, Allan (Susan) and Lloyd; sisters, Ruth (Ed) Breyfogle and Joyce Smith; sister-in-law Helen; numerous relatives and friends. Grandpa will also be missed by his growling buddy Buccaneer. Lyle was born December 28, 1924 in Morris, MB. Prior to retirement Dad worked for the Post Office for 27 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 1. Lyle loved his sports such as hockey, curling, golf and especially football. He was an avid follower and fan of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service to be held at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway on Wednesday, November 21 at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes or the Humane Society.
