KARL BRENNENSTUHL October 2, 1929 - November 18, 2001 Peacefully, on Sunday, November 18, 2001, our Dad and "Oha" passed into the arms of the Lord. He was born in Unterwalden, Poland, came to Canada in 1950, met and then married June (Liebrecht) in 1953. Karl and June were blessed with five children, Barbara, Karen, Elaine, Karl Mark and Mona (Philip Wilfer and grandson Kyle). Karl was predeceased by his daughter Barbara, his son Karl Mark, his wife June and other family members, servants of God who went before him. Karl worked most of his life first as a carpenter at Ashdowns then at the Manitoba Centennial Corp. as a foreman. Dad loved using his "wood" skills to build our summer cabin where he enjoyed fishing, canoeing and outdoor activities with his family. Dad was dedicated to his family in an infinite number of ways. Karl was also a dedicated churchgoer. A funeral service will be held for Karl at Sherwood Park Lutheran Church where he was a member since it opened its doors. Viewing will be at the church on Thursday, November 22 at 10:30 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Karls church, a trust fund at Sherwood Park Lutheran. Special thanks to the entire staff at Kildonan Personal Care Centre, as well to the dedicated nurses and aides on N3E at Concordia Hospital. "In Dads words: Go Bombers, Go!"
