Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN ACHTEMICHUK On Saturday, November 17, 2001, at the Oakview Place Personal Care Home, John Achtemichuk passed away at the age of 79. John was predeceased by his parents, Nick and Mary, and his sister, Pauline. He will be sadly missed by his wife Anne; son Ken (Brenda) of Lethbridge, AB; daughters, Debi Krahn of Winnipeg and Brenda Churchill of Calgary; six grandsons, Todd, Greg (Dawn), Bradley, Marc, Nicholas, and Matthew; great-granddaughter Natalie; sisters, Ann (Reg) Stone of Yorkton, SK, Marge (Ray) Beedle of Swan River, MB, Martha (Billy) McNichol of Estevan, SK; brother Alex (Carol) Achtemichuk of Stonewall, MB; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John was born in Rhein, SK and moved to Winnipeg in 1969 from Yorkton. He retired after 35 years of service with Atomic Transfer. Family would like to thank the staff of Oakview Place, where he resided for the past two years, and all those who cared for John. If friends so desire, donations in Johns memory may be made to Oakview Place Personal Care Home, 2395 Ness Ave., Winnipeg MB R3J 1A5. Visitation will be held at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Tuesday, November 20 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial service will take place at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 21 at 12:30 p.m. A reception will follow.
