ARDEN MILLER It is with great sorrow and sadness that suddenly on November 15, 2001, Arden Nelson Miller, 44 years of age of Lily Bay, MB, was taken from his family and friends. Arden was born on June 6, 1957, in Eriksdale, MB. He received his education in Lily Bay and Eriksdale, MB. As a young man Arden lived his life to the fullest and continued to do so through the years. Arden had a great sense of humour and loved to tease people, especially his family and close friends. Arden will always be remembered for his quick wit, laughter, a smile and a saying for every occasion. If there was something to be said, Arden was the one to say it. He loved to farm and enjoyed every aspect of it. The highlight of spring was starting up his lawn mower. Arden looked forward to hunting season where he hunted with his sons and good friends. He was also a member of the Lily Bay Hunting Association. The most important people in Ardens life was his family. Arden is survived by his loving wife, Chucky, of 21 years; his children, Annette (Doug), Jeff, Jason (Amanda), Mark (Colleen), Matthew (Crystal) and Aaron; Ardens mother Linnea (Adam) Kell; his sister Darlene Miller (John McIntyre), all of Lily Bay; his brother Lloyd (Dolly) Miller of Alberta; his five grandchildren, Jade, Rebecca, Brooke, Chance and Breanna; mother and father-in-law, John (Eileen) Tkach of Mulvihill, MB; brothers-in-law, Joe (Sandra) Tkach, John (Cindy) Tkach, Jim (Lisa) Tkach; sisters-in-law, Darleen (Dwight) Paterson and Juanita (Blair) Shabaga; along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and many good friends and acquaintances. He was predeceased by his father Mac in 1983, his brother Wade in 1973; his close friend Don McIntyre in 1979, and his cousin Sandy Miller in 1991, both of whom he considered as his brothers. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 22 at the Eriksdale Recreational Centre, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Service will conclude at the Hall, with cremation to follow. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Pallbearers will be his six children, Annette, Jeff, Jason, Mark, Matthew and Aaron. Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Carpenter, Lloyd Miller, Barry Carpenter Jr., Blair Shabaga, Horace Hogue, Dwight Paterson, Pat Burdett, Sandy Miller Jr., Roy Brandson and Louis Nagam, along with the members of the Lily Bay Hunting Association. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9. He will be sadly missed by his family and many good friends. Gone but not forgotten. You will always be in our hearts. Love, Your Family. Arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOMES, LTD. Ashern - Lundar 1-204-768-2072
