LUCIEN JOSEPH "LUC" CYR Peacefully, at his residence on Monday, November 19, 2001, Luc Cyr , 72 years, beloved husband of Denise Cyr. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Denise; two sons, Arthur, Paul (Cheryl) two daughters, Marlene Delorme, (Barry), Irene Lemky (Allan) one sister Georgette Belilse (Ray) and also two brothers-in-law, Arsene Delorme, and Raymond Proulx; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Luc was predeceased by his daughter, Carol Ducharme; his mother and father; three brothers and three sisters. Luc worked for the city of Winnipeg, for many years and retired in 1993. In his retirement, he was always active, helping out his family when needed. He especially liked to help other people with their yard work and made numerous friends along the way. Viewing and prayer service will be held on Thursday, November 22 at 8:00 p.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Service of remembrance will be held on Friday, November 23 at 11:15 a.m. also in the chapel with Reverend Fr. Pierre Wood, O.F.M., Cap. officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. The family would like to thank all of the home care workers, for the wonderful care they gave to Luc.
