Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAM KONG WOO (KWAN) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Kam Kong Woo on November 20, 2001 at the Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her husband Nay Seik Woo in 1946. She leaves to mourn her three sons, Wally (Enid), Roger (Julia), and Randy (Sally) eight grandchildren, Nobby (Lorraine), Tinla (John), Casey (Susie), Richie (Jennifer), David, Peter, Larry (Dolly) and Robert; and four great-grandchildren, Kendra, Tianna, Maryn and Jett. She also leaves to mourn her sister Kam Quoi from China and two brothers, Kam Yunk from Hong Kong and Kam York from Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews. Kam was born in China on September 13, 1914. She came to Canada in 1966 where she lived in Saskatoon until 1990 when she moved to Winnipeg. She was a very hard working lady and had a very good heart. She will be dearly missed by her children, great-grandchildren, brothers, her sister and all of those who knew her. The family would like to especially thank all the staff at the Meadowood Personal Care Home for their kindness and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flwoers, the family would appreciate that all donations be made to the Meadowood Manor Building Fund, 577 St. Annes Rd., Winnipeg, MB, R3M 5B2.
