AURORE MARIE MARGUERITE LAFRENIERE (nee RAICHE) Cest avec tristesse que nous annoncons le deces dAurore, a lage de 77 ans. Epouse bien aimee dEdouard. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Robert et Holly (Madeleine, Robby, Joey), (Camil, Janelle et leurs mere Gisele), Denis et Conny (Michael), Diane et Tom (Kimberley), Rene et Joy (Daniel, Joshua), Lynn. Aurore laisse aussi ses freres et soeur, Gerard Raiche et Karen, Lucille Girouard et Norman, Ray Raiche et Vivianne, plusieurs beaux freres, belles soeurs, neveux, nieces et amis. Elle a ete precedee de ses parents, Gilles et Reine Raiche, son frere Gilles, sa soeur Therese Berube et neveux Gilles Raiche. Beaux freres, belles soeurs, Lucien Berube, Rita Raiche, Bill Kozielic, Claude Letienne, Emile Lafreniere, Flore et Jean Tetreault, Jack Hetherington, Auguste and Therese Joyal, Cleophas Lafreniere, o.m.i. Aurore etait une epouse devouer, mere et memere pour ses cinq enfants, ainsi que pour ces plus jeune freres, soeurs et ses petits enfants. Sa porte etait toujour ouverte pour recevoir parents et amis. Son temps speciale etait de passer le plus temps possible avec ces petits enfants. Elle etait douee et passionne dans le bricolage. Le service sera celebre a 10h, a leglise St. Martyrs Canadiens, vendredi, le 23 novembre, presidee par le Pere Albert Lafreniere, o.m.i. Visionnement a 9:30h. Incineration a suivre. La direction des funerailles de Mme Aurore Lafreniere a ete confiee au Salon mortuaire Desjardins 233-4949; sans frais 1-888-233-4949. AURORE MARIE MARGUERITE LAFRENIERE (nee RAICHE) It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Aurore, beloved wife of Edouard Lafreniere, who passed away on November 20 at the age of 77 years. Aurore is lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Edouard; children, Robert and Holly (Madeleine, Robby, Joey), (Camil, Janelle and their mother Gisele), Denis and Conny (Michael), Diane and Tom (Kimberley), Rene and Joy (Daniel, Joshua), Lynn. She is also survived by her siblings, Gerard Raiche and Karen, Lucille Girouard and Norman, Ray Raiche and Vivianne; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews and close friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Gilles and Reine Raiche; her brother Gilles; sister Therese Berube and nephew Gilles Raiche. In-laws, Lucien Berube, Rita Raiche, Bill Kozielic, Claude Letienne, Emile Lafreniere, Flore and Jean Tetreault, Jack Hetherington, Auguste and Therese Joyal, Cleophas Lafreniere, o.m.i. Aurore was a devoted wife, mother and Memere to so many. She raised and mothered her own five children, as well as her siblings from an early age, due to her mothers illness. She had great pride in her job at the Paris Theatre. Aurore welcomed all into her home and at her table. She was a special friend to many in the neighbourhood and her friends always called on her for advice. Aurores crafts were always intricate inventions and she loved to share the patterns and ideas with all. Memere could repair anything with her sewing machine. Thanks for being there and deeply touching the lives of so many, our dear Memere. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the doctors and staff at CCU and to the entire staff of 6A at St. Boniface Hospital, for the excellent care you gave to our Mom. Phyllis thank you for your kindness and friendship to our Mom. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., at St. Martyrs Canadiens, on Friday, November 23, with Fr. Albert Lafreniere, o.m.i. presiding. Viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m., until the time of the service. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully declined.
