ANNE MUSHALUK On Monday, November 19, 2001, Anne Mushaluk (Chalaturnyk) passed away at the Vita Hospital at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her parents, one brother John, and brother-in-law Walter Wachna. Anne has left lots of sweet memories and will be forever remembered and sorely missed by her husband Maurice Mushaluk, and her sister Mary, brother Martin and wife Emily, sister-in-law Wanda, and their families. Precious memories will live on in the hearts of Maurices brothers, sisters, in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. Her hospitality and love will be remembered by all who knew her. Anne was born October 1, 1917 in Gardenton, MB where she took her elementary schooling. She moved with her parents to Gladstone where she took her high school, then moved to South Junction and then to Sundown where she worked in the post office and odd jobs until her marriage. In January 1959 she married Maurice Mushaluk and worked with him in the Piney Red and White Store for 21 years. It was during this time they built a new house for their retirement. Annes hobbies which she loved were growing flowers, gardening and picking berries. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Vita Hospital for her excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Piney Community Church or to the charity of their choice. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 24 at the Piney Community Church, with viewing between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Piney Cemetery.
