NICHOLAS (PAPA) SENIUK Peacefully passed on to watch over us from above at the age of 84. Papa was a resident of the Bethania Personal Care Home at the time of his passing. He will be missed and memories cherished by his wife of 59 years, Nellie; daughters, Judy (Clair) Dickenson, Jeannette (Gary) Wozniak, Julie (Lee) Eccles, Johanna (Tom) Orun and Joy Bialowas (sp) son Emil (Trish). His grandchildren were the joy of his life and included, Jodean, Jennifer, Conrad, Janelle, Jarrod, Jaclyn, Kyle, Cody and Justine; and great-granddaughter Skylar; as well as two sisters, Mary of Winnipeg and Rosie of British Columbia. He was predeceased by brothers, Steve, John, Peter, Bill, Mike and Harry; and sisters, Eva, Anne, Katie and Alexina and his son Raymond. Nick was a carpenter by trade and loved puttering around his or anyone elses home. He enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels and playing cards with his kids and grandkids. Wrestling tapes and John Wayne movies kept him busy during the last months. Nick always had a smile and a positive attitude. He loved to walk up and down the backlanes and streets to talk to people. His extended family included many and the family especially wishes to thank the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for their tender and compassionate care of Papa, and Dr. Lepp for her compassion and understanding. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 26 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Chapel. Interment will follow in Old Kildonan Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Nicks memory to the Bethania Memorial Fund, 1045 Concordia Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2K 3S7.
