KENNETH JOHN SCOTT Peacefully on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 at the Dr. Evelyn Memorial Hospital, Stonewall, Ken Scott, aged 72 years, beloved husband of Phyllis Scott of Rosser, MB. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 29th of this year. He was born March 2, 1929 at Toronto, ON. Surviving besides his beloved wife Phyllis, son Shane and wife Sharon (nee Watson) grandchildren, Jamie, Cory, and Terri-Lynn; sister Margaret Brooks of Toronto; two brothers, Allan (Wendy) of Alberta, and Matthew of Ontario; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Sarah; and two brothers, Thomas and Ross. Ken and his family moved to Manitoba in 1975, where he was employed by Allied Auto. He worked for ten years, prior to retiring in 1995, for MPIC as Salvage Manager. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Ken Garrity will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be Garth Hesse, Peter Tervoort, Murray Horobin, Allan Scott, Cory Scott, Jamie Scott. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Dear Pa, Pa you were a great person whom we loved very much. You were great to Nan and Dad and Mom and Jamie and Cory and friends and me. You are special in your own way. We love you very much.
