NELLIE STELMACK It is with great sadness that the family of Nellie Stelmack announces her passing on Thursday, November 22, 2001. Although it was hard to let her go, we are thankful she is in the care of the One whose comfort is all encompassing. The beautiful memories will always remain with us. Left to mourn her passing are her loving and devoted children, daughters, Carol (Garry) McLellan, Karen (Fred) Carlson; son Gordon (Eleanor) Stelmack; her precious grandchildren, Lisa McLellan-Bowes (Jeff), Kelly McLellan (fiance Geoff Page), Stacey Kowalchuk (Dave), Derek (Rhiana) Carlson, Michael, Christopher, Nicholas and Matthew, and great-granddaughter Livia Carlson. Also mourning her loss are her brother Stephen (Josie) Bahry; sister Anne Molinski; in-laws Mary Bahry, Dorothy Kubish, Julia Wilgosh, Millie (Walter) Staska, Stanley (Ethel) Godoski, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 42 years, Nicholas, in 1986 and son Ernie in infancy; brothers, James, William and John Bahry; sisters, Marie Rycar and Sally Mazur. Nellie was born on the family farm at White Poplar, MB to Ukrainian pioneers David and Eva Bahry. Mom and Dad lived all of their married life in Beausejour, MB, where they worked and raised their family. After Dads passing, she moved to Winnipeg to be near her children. She was in every sense of the word, a true mother and grandmother, and happiest when surrounded by the family. Mom was a quiet, giving person and always made our friends feel welcome. We will all fondly remember her beautiful welcoming smile, her wonderful Sunday dinners, family trips and gatherings, but most of all, her unconditional love, and the fact that home was always where Mom was. A private family service will be held. The family would like to extend their thanks to the caring and compassionate staff and friends at River East Personal Care Home. If friends so desire, donations in Nellies memory may be made to the Parkinson Foundation Canada, Box 22239 Stn. Brm. B, Toronto, ON, M7Y 4A1. There you lie, A beautiful angel, waiting in the sky. Grieving is hard now, But as sure as the sun will set, We know this will too. Up comes the beautiful gleaming sun, Over the horizon of darkness, Bringing a new day, For us. You wont be forgotten. Your loving touch And your happy, glorious smile, Which would light up a room, Full of darkness. Linger on Sweet angel. Leave all but your soul, And follow the footsteps of God, Into the kingdom of heaven. We know You loved us As we loved you.
