Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY JOSEPH ULASY Peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2001, surrounded by family, Stanley Joseph Ulasy, aged 81 years, passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. Stanley was predeceased by his mother Stella Lena Liska, father Joseph Wallis Ulasy, and younger sister Victoria Collins. He will be sadly missed by Flore (nee Lanthier), his beloved wife of 54 years; his sister Helen Morallis; one daughter Donna Pelletier; and three sons, Allan and wife Gayle, Albert and Della, Brian and Debbie; and 10 grandchildren, Natina, Daxx, Kristen, Ashleigh, Samantha, Chloe, Jamie, Shawna, Autumn, and Jared. Stanley was born 1920, in Caledonia, ON, raised in Sarto, MB by Julius and Helen Ulasy. In 1941 he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army, served overseas in the United Kingdom and Europe, was decorated and discharged in 1946. Married Flore of Winnipeg in 1947, worked 31 years as a First Operator for Shell Canada (North Star Oil), and retired in 1981. Was an active member of the St. Vital Legion Branch No. 16 for 49 years. Stanley and Flore lived all their married life in the St. Boniface area. In accordance with Stanleys wishes, cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., with Fr. Roy of Holy Cross Parish officiating.
