JACK CLIFFORD DYER Suddenly, on Saturday, November 24, 2001, Jack Dyer, aged 77 years, beloved husband of Aurelia, passed away at Concordia Hospital. Jack was born in Wawota, SK on December 21, 1923. At the age of 16 Jack enlisted in the 8th Light Anti Aircraft 101st Battery 4th Division RCA in which he served for six years. After the war he worked as a stationary engineer in various locations, his most recent being the Health Science Centre. He retired at age 65. Jack was an enthusiastic sports fan and would have been upset at the most recent Blue Bomber loss. Jack thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the people on his Free Press route. He leaves to mourn his wife Aurelia; children, Mark (Rosemary Peel), Theresa (Bill Adams), Deborah and Vic; grandchildren, Richard Dyer, Allyson and Lindsey Adams, Jerrol and Jenna Pronishen; brother Frank (Annie) numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Jack was predeceased by his parents, Agnes and Charles; sister Eva Bowes and granddaughter Marla. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, November 28, at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 29, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Church, Munroe and Brazier, with Fr. Terance McGrath officiating. Service will conclude at Church with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
