MURIEL LAURA JENNINGS (NEE BURNETT) Peacefully, on November 24, 2001, Muriel Laura Jennings passed away at Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home. Muriel was born on June 25, 1908, in Winnipeg. Muriel will be lovingly remembered by her children, Thomas (Christie), Robert (Lori), Gloria Belliveau, Douglas (Diane) her grandchildren, Veronica, Juliana, Murielle, Diane (Denis), Robert, Micheline, Rene (Micheline), Heather (Gordon), Nicole (Tim), Thomas (Shannon), Monique (Ron), Tracy, Arlene (Vinh) nine great-granddaughters; and 13 great-grandsons. Muriel was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Albert Jennings; her parents, James and Laura Burnett; her brothers, Arthur, Thomas, Philip, and Wilfred; her sisters, Eva and Marjorie; and her granddaughter Deborah. Muriel lived her life to the fullest, enjoying her church association and had an avid interest in many types of crafts, including making many Afghans and clothes for her family. She also enjoyed many outings with her family, including vacations at Grand Beach. Muriel was an active member of Sr. Bowling for about 12 years. At her request, cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Thursday, November 29 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Muriels memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
