JOHN (JACK) COPP SOBEY Son of John Copp and Julia (Connelly), passed away November 25, 2001 at the age of 94. He was born July 7, 1907 in St Vital and lived most of his life in Norwood. He worked for Burns & Co. for over 40 years retiring in 1972. He is survived by his son John, wife Mimie, their son John Copp, wife Sue and children Evan and Dylan; their daughter, Danielle, husband Michael and son Michel all of Ottawa. His daughter Lois MacDonald, husband Derek Booth and her daughter Tracey Novak; his son Richard, wife Sharron, their sons, Sherritt and Sean, his wife Sherry, their son Carsen, all of Winnipeg; his daughter Linda Clarke, her daughters Jacqueline Seymour, her daughter Amanda Paige Martin of Qualicum Beach, BC and Nicole Lynne Clarke husband Chris Gage and their daughter Cheyenne Margaret, of Squamish BC; his sister Gladys Hammond and brother Tom. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret; his sisters, Sue MacDonald, Jean Orchard, and Elizabeth (Betty) Burt; and brothers, Joe and Richard (Dick) as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Funeral services were held on Tuesday November 27 at 4:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to St. Johns Cathedral, 135 Anderson Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2W 5M9 Memorial Fund or to a charity of your choice.
