ELSIE REIMER (Nee PLETT) October 1929 - November 2001 Passed away peace-fully Friday November 23, 2001 at her home with family at her side. Elsie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by John, her husband of 51 years; son Dennis (Phyllis) grandchildren, Thomas, Steven, and Scott; son Gerald (Lori) grandchildren, Carol, Leah, Erin and Julia; daughter Audrey (Gerald) Penner; grandchildren, Ryan, Raegan (Jon) Plett, Lindsay (Tim) Schroeder and Zachary; son Allan (Debra) Jocelyn, Eric and Geoffrey; son Ron; daughter Eileen (Victor) Engbrecht; grand-children, David, Rachel, Jessica and Johanna; and daughter Deb (Tim) Rogalsky; grand-children, Nathan, Lois, Mark and Philip. She was predeceased by her son David in 1983. Elsie was born and raised on a farm in Willow Ridge, MB. She invested her life in the lives of her husband John, her children and grand-children. She loved gardening and her flowers. She will always be remembered for her quiet nature and ready smile. Her solid faith in Jesus Christ and resulting peace was an inspiration to her family and friends. Funeral service will be held Wednesday November 28 2:00 p.m. at Prairie Rose Evangelical Mennonite Church, Landmark, MB. Viewing will be held Tuesday November 27, 7:30 to 8:15 p.m. with devotional at 8:15 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel and also at the church prior to the service. Donations in Elsies memory may be made to EMC Missions.
