ERNEST WILLIAM BARROTT On Monday, November 26, 2001 at Tuxedo Villa, Ernie Barrott passed away at the age of 82 years. Ernie leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years, Doreen; sons, Daryl (Bev) and Robert (Mandy) daughter Carol (Dale) grandchildren, Jillian, Tracy, Scott and Crystal. Ernie grew up in Winnipeg, attending St. Matthews Anglican Church and latterly, Holy Trinity Anglican Church. He served in the R.C.H.A. overseas from 1939 to 1945. Ernie worked for the federal government in the Health Protection Branch (Food and Drug), retiring in February, 1984. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 256 Smith St. The family extends their thanks to Dr. Craig Hildahl and staff, Drs. Burke and Pearlman and all of the staff at Tuxedo Villa, especially Station 3 for their tender loving care. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Tuxedo Resident Sunshine Fund, 2060 Corydon Ave., R3P 0N2, the Parkinson Foundation of Manitoba, 204-825 Sherbrook St., R3A 1M5, or a charity of choice.
