Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN RAE SILL Peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2001 at Riverview Health Centre, Lillian Rae Sill (nee Evans) passed away after a lengthy illness. She will be lovingly missed by her sons, Jack Sill (Darlene), Winnipeg and Richard Sill (Sandra), Gloucester, ON; grandchildren, Kathleen, Karen, Michelle, Joseph and Susan; brothers, Jack (Yvonne) Evans, Winnipeg, George (Audrey) Evans, Victoria, BC; sisters, Margaret White, Audrey Wilford, Winnipeg, Shirley Arnold, Vancouver, Phyllis (Jack ) King, Grimsby, ON. and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1970. She was born and raised in St. Vital. In her younger days she was an avid bowler and enjoyed organizing her ladies league as well as winning some trophies along the way. She was a creative and talented lady who crafted many fine pieces of ceramics and porcelain as well as embroidery and needlepoint creations for her family to enjoy. Always wanting to keep her hands busy, she became a volunteer for Marina Creations where her sewing and knitting expertise helped to raise money. She was a knowledgeable and active gardener. One of Lillians favourite places was her cottage at Matlock where she spent many summers raising her young sons. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Chapel at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 28. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to one of Lillians favourite charities, The Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Road, Winnipeg R2L 1X3, or to a charity of your choice.
