PHILLIP ROBERT "BOB" KAUFMAN It is with great sorrow that the family announce the sudden passing of Phillip Robert Kaufman on Sunday, November 25, 2001, at the St. Boniface Hospital. Bob leaves to mourn in his passing and to cherish his memory his loving wife, Gladys Kaufman; daughter Cheryl and son Andrew as well as his mother, Katherine Kaufman. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and good friends. Bob was predeceased by his father in 1976. Bob was born on July 13, 1940, in Winnipeg MB. He was employed with Burroughs Bussiness Machines and then at Philips Information Systems until his early retirement in 1992. Bob was a happy person, easy going and always eager to help his fellow man. He was a loving husband and father. Bob especially enjoyed spending time with his family at the cottage that he and his father built. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28 at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with visitation being held one half hour prior to the service time. Interment and reception to follow. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the emergency staff at the Grace General Hospital and the St. Boniface Hospital for the special care given to dad. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations in Bobs memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald Street, Winnipeg MB R3B 2H8.
