WILLIAM SNATENCHUK Peacefully, on Tuesday morning, November 27, 2001, William Snatenchuk, beloved husband of Kaye, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Bill was primarily self-taught and became well respected as an expert in the field of drilling in construction. He started "Metro Piling" in 1962. His word in business and friendship was his bond and he gained a reputation for fairness in all his business dealings. Bill loved to travel and was fortunate to visit all of the continents with his family. He was proud to become a grandfather to Oliver this past year and cherished the time he had with him. He was a caring, proud and generous husband and father. Bill (Wasyl, Wild Bill, Metro Bill) will be remembered by countless friends and relatives for his willingness to help others, his ability to solve the most complex problem, his sincerity in all his undertakings, being straight forward and outspoken with a unique sense of humour. Left to cherish his memory, his wife Kaye; daughter Kerilee (Richard) Turski; grandson Oliver Wm.; sister Rose (Steve) Mudrie of Vernon; brother Harry (Anne) of Lockport; aunt Jean (Toronto) many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Catherine; brother Michael and two nephews. We would like to thank our family and friends for the love and support during his illness and throughout the years, to the staff of 5B and 5E at the St. Boniface Hospital. We love you forever and will miss you always. Prayers will be held on Friday, November 30 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, December 1 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church. Entombment will follow in the family mausoleum at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. "The meetings are what makes life meaningful, The partings are where you find out how much it meant."
